Cambridge Audio CD34 CD player, looks tatty but works great £30 posted, RCA audio and coax digital output. No remote:
Sony STR DH500 Surround amp, nice and loud, 5.1 outputs 3 HDMI inputs plus lots of others, including optical audio. A quality bit of kit. £90 posted. No remote.
Sony JE640 Minidisc player/recorder, with remote. Coax and optical input/output as well as RCA. £45 posted, including 5 used blank discs to get you started.
