What is this ?

I've just bought this bike as a winter training bike, it's not quite right for me and I'm looking to sell it on. I've already got it up for sale but just curious to know what it is.

It's Reynolds 531ST and the sticker identifies it as having been made after 1984. The diamond shaped bottle braze ons look quite distinct.

Can anyone help ?

here's the head badge, I don't think for one minute that this is the real manufacturer, Kung Fu Boy !!!

Yeah, I'm sure it's a tourer, too slack to be a cross bike.

What he said. Bottle bosses are too ornate for it to be a Triumph Road offering or anything from the Dawes Galaxy family. Definitely not a CX bike BTW - mudguard eyes are the giveaway.

Pity it didn't turn out to be a good fit for you - looks like a really nice frameset.

Reminds me of a Raleigh Royal but its not as I've just checked :oops: , I have seen many of those features before though :?
