VERY EARLY 80'S TREK!!

Not a true vintage trek, not sure about 1980s, more early 1990s. The early ones were lugged beauties with 22 inch frames. This one was out the same time as the investment cast lugged ali 8000 series ones which was 1991/1992 I think

300 LX started life in 1990. I recall this being fitted to the purple 1990 Raleigh Mirage after which I lusted.

300lx, pah, still not a patch on Exage Mountain, now that was a 1980s groupo. Had Trail on my first proper bike and then ugraded to Mountain, then to Mountain LX then hupped to XT. None of this 300/400/500 stuff for me!

in fact we had the exact same bike in for a service last week! even had a "cycles" sticker on it, couldve been one i sold 
it was in FULL original condition, but the sti units were nakerd, which i later fixed..at home
