Transport design survey - your opinions wanted!

Done. I would've added "convenience" to both of the tick lists - as a non-driver I use rail a lot to travel to cyclo-cross races, and it's nice to be able to stick my bike on the train and read a book, have a coffee, use the loo, etc. whilst someone else does the driving. :) As it was "relaxing" seemed the next-most appropriate box.

I've done this, got a slight problem with question nine as at no point does it mention cost.

Being a skinflint Yorkshireman, cost is king, I would use any form of public transport as long as it got me where I wanted to go in a reasonable time and was cheaper than my current car usage.

Taking this a step further, If I have a round trip of 36 miles... it costs me the following -

Fuel - £3.50
Tax - Nil
Insurance - £0.80
Servicing/MOT - £1
Street parking - Nil

Total £5.30 Return

Current train price, which involves a two mile walk to the Station. £7.20 return. Limited choice of trains.

Therefore, I am about £430 a year better off in the car... I appreciate I haven't taken depreciation or major breakages into consideration.
