The question now is what to do with it. It's low end obviously, and dates to 1986. Components are Sachs and SR, cro mo tubing.

My first ride out on Saturday was very entertaining, the geometry is really relaxed!
 
Dunno if it's a mountain bike. But here it is.

Apparently they made frames down under from 1980.

Could do with some work. Running 1x2 and a half at the moment :)

It's got big 2.1 rims, a 48 !! chain ring and friction gears.

Time to start klunkin' :)

+1. What a lovely bike. I always feel that Bridgestones project a restrained elegance, or perhaps a workmanlike beauty about them, and this example is no exception.
 
1988 and 89 rockhopper and rockhopper comp(black ex harrycrumb) got a baby blue 89 comp on the cards too.
