I've had one of those tools for at least 15 years, if not nearer 20... it fits all shimano sealed square taper BBs, and most shimano compatible BBs too. Campagnolo is different (but handily, their BBs use the same tool as their cassettes)

don't ask me about modern stuff like outboard bearing BBs though, I know next to nothing about those

Now I know these tools are not of the highest quality, but they are not terrible either and justify their price even if they save you one trip to your LBS (which they most certainly will).
