This is a beauty, as my number one Klein supplier said, you will have to find NOS to beat it.

Looking out for a Campag rear mech in the dark carbon effect to match the rest of the groupset.

Edit: Rear mech found now just need to fit it. Since I have owned this I have replaced one of the Bullet shifter cable tubes as it was snapped with a NOS item. I have cut the seat QR down to avoid injury. The chain and pedals are fitted and all adjustments required made as those who made the Richmond Park ride earlier in the year will know. I have also fitted a clear repro Klein chain stay protector. I don't currently have any new photos of it completed.

I will let the photos do the talking!

Despite having owned a Klein myself, I don't really go in for the hysteria that affixes itself to the brand (especially the earlier/vintage models).

However, I must say this is a splendid example! sooooo fresh and clean (there's an OutKast reference there ). Will it be a rider? ;)

Not a rider this one, boo I hear! It really needs to be kept like it is and believe me that goes against the grain for me really but like anything old and valuable and it fantastic condition, whether it's a classic car, piece of vintage furniture, art, etc. there comes a time when it just needs to be preserved, completely my opinion of course. I am fortunate enough to have an old one which I have been riding since 93, so I guess thats a good balance.

Cheers, Ash.

It is indeed, my friend, it it indeed. I too am of a similar ilk, in the sense that I like my antiquities to be used and abused. However, I completely understand your decision to garage queen this bike, it is a supreme example of an iconic bike.

I agree, you have one to ride as well so why not keep this in a preserved state as it is very nice indeed :)
