Visiting Thetford Forest

Only been a few times and was wondering if the place will be open all week for riding.
Not sure when but might try to visit next week.
It's a bit of a journey so just wanted to confirm it's open all the time.
Thank you.

Didn't go in the end, apparently you can park near Brandon and not have to pay £10 for parking.
Not a regular, if any regulars have any tips that'll be great.
:)

Brandon Country Park is where we usually meet up. The parking is cheaper and the cafe is excellent (but a bit expensive). There is more natural singletrack on the BCP side whereas the sign posted routes are over on the High Lodge side. Recent tree harvesting on the BCP side has ruined some trials so it is not as busy as it used to be.

I've been spoilt.

Awesome avatar, from the film with the nutter with a nail gun

Compressed air wasn't it?

Thetford is fun for a while but doesn't really do it for me these days. It was great before the waymarked trails when they had numbers on trees. You'd just ride great trails and use the tree numbers to get back to high lodge when you wanted to. Now people only use the designated routes so all the other trails are overgrown through under use.

Parked outside the gates to save on parking once and got robbed. Haven't risked it since.

Loads of unmarked trails still, you just need to know where to look. Will say that the Brandon side is now pretty cut up after the first WS race at the weekend.
