Which brand featured a 'V' on it's chromed fork?

Just aquired some nice Columbus chromed forks but they have a 'V' engraved on each side of the crown. Surely a Vitus would feature a Vitus fork so now I'm stumped. Any thoughts?

Thought about Viner but they had four holes in a sort of star pattern sometimes......

Can i piggyback on your thread - what fork has a 'H' with a triangular shape round it? The triangular shape looks a bit like a house shape- sorry no pics of it.

Any suggestions on a Saturday night?????????

Thanks, i thought Harry Quinn but could not get a pic of it.

You gotta love the knowledge on this forum!!!

my 5 cents

I have seen that 'V' before somewhere :?
It may well be a Vianelli fork, will have to try and check.

I know the Vianelli family and the V they used is a different shape.
