We need a pic of that next to a civic or some international econobox for a True measure of scale.

Agreed.

Not quite as big or as powerful as sylus' Chevy  , but very nimble offroad: my 2011 Toyota Tacoma 4WD pickup with access cab, 4.0 liter v6, and 6-speed manual transmission gets me where I need to go. :D

Been tempted to chop the chevy in for a tacoma to be honest... 10-15 mpg around town and the novelty wears off..measured the truck today...front to back 19 1/2 feet..mirror to mirror 8 1/2 feet

great looking truck chap and some excellent views ..given me a few ideas

Many thanks, sylus.

Here's a couple of my previous rides:

1991 Toyota 4WD pickup with Xtracab, 3 liter v6, and 5-speed manual trans. Great ride except that it blew a head gasket every 60k miles. After 12 years and over 185k miles, I traded up for a 2003 Toyota Tacoma 4WD pickup with Xtracab, 3.4 liter v6, and 5-speed manual trans. That one was my favorite; it was like a motocross bike with a pickup bed, and I would have kept it if I could have afforded to, and if I ever won the lottery, I'd buy a bunch of them. It's big enough to carry what you need, and skinny enough to get through some tight little spaces, and the high-in-the-saddle seating allows a commanding view of the road. I put over 250k miles on it in 7.5 years, so it was time to trade it up for the 2011 Taco.
