I am that sort of analy retentive person. Keep trying to stop it, but can't.:cry:

The new Trimbles quoted as 3.1lb, so if the oldy ones were 5lb, they were either seriously overbuilt, or carbon development has moved on a fair bit.

Would love to know how it rides though. Looks fantastic, if it rides and tracks well it really would be something special. Any idea how flexy they are?
 
Its not heavy I can assure you! As I said - its lighter than my steel Konas.

In terms of how it rides...I just need this steerer and Im away.

Actually Ive just thought - Ive got to thread those darn internal cables...thread and vaccuum trick methinks...
