Any GT Cyclone/Psyclone out there? Serial numbers wanted!

Hmm, not any serial on our 20" Psyclone!
There is a square embossed part where normally a number should be but no number there.
It's a True Temper GTX Ultra III, so bit confused which year it is.
gm1230126 wrote this once on the 'mtbr' forum:

1991 Cyclones were True Temper AVR Ultra II
1992 Psyclones were True Temper GTX Ultra III. GTX meaning produced for GT. Don;t think I've ever seen another make with True Temper GTX tubing. First year of the Groove Tube
1993 Psyclones were True Temper GTX Ultra III as 1992 with Grrove Tube
1994 Psyclones were GTX Ultra III with Groove Tube
1995 Psyclones were GTX Ultra III with Groove Tube
1996 Psyclones...the Tech Shop catalog says they were a mix of True Temper OX3 with a custom True Temper seat tube, and chain stays with Reynolds custom seat stays. My 96's both have GTX Ultra III labels on the seat tubes. I have one 96 with groove tube and one 96 with downtube routed cables.
1997 Psyclones were True Temper GTX heat treat butted. My 1997 Psyclone with SS dropouts has a True Temper OX Gold decal. Have also seen 97's with OX Platinum decals
1998 Psyclones were Reynolds 853
1999 Psyclones were Reynolds 853

My Cyclones:
GTL 9214
GTL 9220

My Psyclones"
94 16" frame 94P45
96 18" bike 95P01 (weird? clearly a 96 decal never been repainted)
97 19" bike Single speed 97P183
96 19" bike Team Scream 96P193
98 18" bike 98P069

Thanks for the input, Kevin! :) Awesome collection!

Your Cyclones are 9114 and 9120 - right?

Regarding the 95P01 with 96 decals: I guess, you have a 95 frame which was originally delivered with 96 decals. That would also explain why this frame still has the Groove Tube which none of the other 96 frames have.

I will update the starting post.

We can deduct from the serial numbers, that in the model years 1994, 1996 and 1997 at least 200 frames were produced every year.

No serial here:

It's worth having a very good look, I thought the same as the paint is so goddamn thick!

My Psyclone is 97P018 by the way..True Temper OX Gold frame, v brakes (but still the canti hanger fitting mount on the seat tube) :)

That assumption is best saved for confirmation by Forrest Yelverton who directed the Tech Shop....forrest@gtb.com He still checks his old email address once in a while.
