It's Mountain Biking, it's meant to be obscure! Next you'll be wanting cafes and bike shops and trails that don't turn to mush in a drizzle or grow over with nettles 9 months of the year and then where will we all be, riding around nose to tail spending a fortune on kit but never learning to ride, much less read a map!
Hard to imagine the terribleness.
