I'm putting a build together for a work colleague of mine after we found his Nishiki Alien to have a cracked headtube. I need a set of suspension forks for the replacement build. I have a 1997 Trek XC frame, so could do with some 80mm max travel forks. 1 1/8" steerer tube and normal qr dropouts. Something like an RST fork or an old Rockshox/Marzocchi would be spot on. Not sure on steerer tube length yet, but will say 190mm as a guide (will measure up later).

On a real budget so don't mind if they need serviced.

Thanks in advance, Matt

Oh forgot to say they need to have v-brake mounts.

Afraid I'd be looking a lot cheaper than you're asking for your forks. Thanks though.

Got a pair of Manitou SX in need of some tlc ;)
