L&M Stardrive Cranks [pic]

Dragging up an old topic, these are mine. L&M stardrive. Pretty light at 437g the pair. Got a feeling I bought them from Merlins back in the day. Up for sale soon.

L&M cranks

I run these on 3 of my far too numerous to mention bikes.
I used to purchse them direct at trade shows mainly to save on a bit of vat and postage,i had a tandem set made in the original skinny silver ones,
and my fetish for red was fulfilled with two sets of the later xc chunky ones
my kilauea even had a bespoke 56 tooth top ring made up purely for cycling down dichlin beacon on the london to brighton to satisfy my craving for stupidly fast ( roughly 8 miles of twisty downhill tarmac)

I have always loved them and never encountered any issues with them unlike the numerous snapped middleburn left arms in the past,

Nice find!

I don't remember much about them, but they were British and from what I do remember pretty decent quality. For some reason they never really took off though.. :?

I was just thinking about L&M stuff the other day when I stumbled across this site..

A selection of rings that would match your cranks:

They are in holland I believe.. if you fancied ordering anything let me know and I'll split the postage as they have a few little bits I fancy too..

Be careful! Those guys at 'mammoet' can not be trusted.   They will not hesitate to rip you off, especially when you order online. I myself have never ordered stuff there, but I've read terrible things about them on dutch forums. Just warning you lot.
