Great job Bart - what ever you paid for those tyres was worth it they really finish the bike.

Totally agree really finishes it off, top job, bike's a real memory jerker to the bikes that seemed a little odd at the time (early 80s) but laid the seed to when I first got interested in MTBs
 
Thanks for all the comments! Real happy with the bike. This sunday it will be used in the retro race in the Netherlands. I will try to take some pictures on saterday when the tires are still clean!

It's up to race speed, as long as you're competing with bikes in the same class :)

But I just mean you built it up, and now you're going to use it as it was designed to be used. As opposed to turning it into wall art..
