1993 GT RTS-1 Build (Finally started.....)

Have had this frame hanging in the workshop for awhile, waiting for some time to start it. It's a bit on the large side for me, but i couldn't say no when it was offered to me. It was a bit of a state, swing arm badly rusty, no decals, and built up with a mis-match of era and quality parts.

Parts wise, mainly XT, bit of USE and the obligatory Rock Shox Mag 21. I'll add the full spec when it's done.

Will update more as and when - next stop is painting the forks and polishing the parts.

Looks like quite a big job.

Yes all the best with this,I had to do a similar thing to you when I built my first one,
Take rear end off get it stripped/re sprayed.
Remove all remaining decals and polish the frame
Get all the different parts from all over the place
Get the wheels built
And everything fitted
The hardest part was finding another set of fluro/black decals for it!
That took me ages.

May get some component polishing done over the weekend....

1st disaster of the evening - anyone know where i can get a replacement ceramic bush for the top jockey wheel?
