What to do in Chicago?

If you stood on the sidelines to watch polo anywhere - 99% of polo groups would invite you to try it out on the spot. Polo culture is essentially social - much more so than most cycling niches. Ask RC Rob - he came down to the London Open and was pretty wow'd by it all.

Their best team is Clobber Politics - https://vimeo.com/50450384 - Lefty Joe and Robbie were playing in London and at the Worlds in Geneva last month.

The Museum of Science and Industry-one of my fav museums. They have the U505, a captured WWII German submarine in it's own enclosure you can tour through, plus ride an elevator down into a coal mine and take a tour, there are WWII fighter planes suspended from the ceiling, really cool place!

a whole submarine? wow!

and a coal mine too? that sounds excellent.

Well I didn't get a lot if time in Chicago in the end but I did make the science museum, yes it's an actual German uboat - simply awesome!
