I have a pair of Mavic, Modolo calipers .

The pads are Mavic but they are very hard, and needs replacing .

Can I find some cartridges for them or should I just buy a new pair of pads from different brand ?

I think they're quite hard when new anyway, I mean the " sintered" type.

If you want to replace the brakes blocks, find some generic blocks, cut to shape if needed, push out the old blocks and put in the new ones.

Or you can get some after market shoes and blocks.

i've got a new pair.....that,s the next 30 years sorted then!

The Modolo sinterized blocks are rock hard - I pair lasted 30 years so far!

sintered blocks

I had some sintered blocks - they took the anodizing off my lovely new rims in the space of about 5 miles. brutal ha ha

I was looking for some stuff the other day and came across one of my Speedy calipers, and yep the sintered blocks are really hard, and I think they were that hard when new.

I also remember they're quite abrasive.
