Also got some appropriately coloured folding wildgrippers for this. Not NOS but close, these are to use but maybe look a bit fat at 2.1 we shall see.
 
Looking great :cool: I think those 2.1's might be tight judging by the 1.95 on mine. Decals on please, c'mon chop chop ;)

Jeez, decals haven't quite landed yet. In two minds whether to give it a coat of laquer over the decals or not. I think I'll wait and see how good the decals are first...

£50 for the frame fork and stem blasted and coated at Shermaynes near Morecambe.
 
Ohhh I like that colour a lot.

I have a Roberts DB somewhere that may be that colour... but that's another story!

I'm still shaking bits of sand out of the frame!

Next job is to rub down with fine w&d, apply decals and then a couple of coats of lacquer.

Itching to build it!
