I'm currently in Chicago, Lombard. I'm going to have Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning free. I wanted to head into town, ive heard the science museum is good? Sears tower, lake. Anything else? I don't have a car so planning on taking the train in, is this a bad idea?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

standing in the glass box on the 103rd floor of Willis tower is cool, formerly the sears tower. navy pear is quite interesting, and there was a great little irish bar somewhere with a very cute barmaid called Missy! god she was lovely! :D

this was a great place, missy is now in belgium though!

The Museum of Science and Industry-one of my fav museums. They have the U505, a captured WWII German submarine in it's own enclosure you can tour through, plus ride an elevator down into a coal mine and take a tour, there are WWII fighter planes suspended from the ceiling, really cool place!

Thanks guys. I think the Science museum will be on the list, sounds awesome, followed by some beers in the Irish bar to buck up the courage to go up the Willis tower!

Thanks for the tip Neil, I think
I wonder what they'll say if I turn up on my tod as ask if I can play?
