As a lot of people , I am missing the spacer for my Mavic derailleur .

I remember a thread about someone wanting to make some .

has he done any ?

or has anyone have a spare ?

if not , a good picture would help to make one .

thanks in advance .

thanks , made one yesterday , not looking great but seems to work .

As long as you get the thickness right, it should work aceptably well. I once got a derailleur to work without even having the three tabs. Obviously, with teh tabs it worked much better.

it is moving and responding to the shifter . havent got the rest of the build ready yet so cant try it our properly .

Without the tabs, the washer need to be slightly too thick to work, I think. And then you'd need to loosen the gear hanger bolt every time you take the wheel out.

The correct thickness puts the mech at the right distance from the hanger, so that it touches the hanger but still spin freely, you need it loose for wheel changes. The tabs stops it rotating too far forward and holds it at the correct angle.
