Maverick SC32 noise

Whenever I hit a reasonable size object I can hear a very audible 'thunk' sort of noise, which sounds like something isn't done up correctly. I've checked the hub bearings, how tightly the QRs are done up, the headset's fine, and I don't think the slider protectors would make that sort of noise if they hit them....

I've pretty much run out of ideas and it's driving me mad!

Thanks in advance!

Have you checked the oil levels in the damper are all up to spec?

Maverick forks have a reduced travel "climbing mode" (not a lock-out), does that work as it should? If not that could be oil levels too or a worn O-ring in the damper somewhere.

That's what I can think of.

Send an e-mail to Ethan in the USA. He's really helpful.
So are John Atkins Cycles who service Maverick.
THere are quite a few Maverick fora, those on MTBR are generally quite sensible.
