You Really can't have enough Bananas, so.........

I now have in the garage a 19" Raleigh Team Banana frame, thanks due to Bikenrrd for this!! My son is well pleased ( tho to be fair he hasn't felt the weight yet....)

I am planning to buil it up with Exage 300/400/ parts as far as possible I think. Not original but a bit better without totally out classing the frame. I have a front mech, brake levers, a handlebar stem, seat post and pedals. So some ebaying and scouring of the Retrobike For sales will ensue (everyone get looking out those discarded bits!). I have loads of time to do it as I think the frame will be bit big yet!

I will get a picture up when I have taken one! And keep the surprising number of Team Banana fans up to date!

:D

Too wet to take photos...but have been rummaging in the garage though! Have fitted a Zoom seatpin, red ano Ti Xlite seatbolt, Exage Motion Front Mech and a Specilaised bottle cage with puurple ano ally bolts. Looking good in an 80s-90s kind of way.

Done a bit of Ebay bidding too.....

Wow that list is very impressive Brian.

I'd love to resto-mod a 531 model Banana and update it with something like Campag 11 speed Athena.

If nothing else but to wind some of the Mamil carbon-whores up on the hills at our local sportives.
