I actually lost a bike using sniper even though I was the highest bidder :evil:
I'd set an odd amount, something like £102.76p. But I found out after the auction had been increasing in £1.05 increments, so the winning bid was £102.05, I hadn't bid enough to go to £103.05. It may be the winning bidder could have being going higher anyway, but it felt like I lost for the sake of 29p.
Not used a snipe since.
