Giant Terrago

That looks nice, what's the frame made of? Looks very Max-OR with the shaping going on at the joints.
Well worth hanging onto in this condition.

Hi there,

I am glad I found this topic! I have one Giant Terrago, very much like this, I am not absolutely sure about the year. It was my bike when I was about 16, now I am restoring it after years of misuse and/or very little attention to it.

I need a little help with something - what's the headset size? 1"? I need to get one new as mine doesn't look good.

I thank you all very much for any help you may give.

Regards,

Pedro

Ops! Thought I had done that, but something must have gone wrong.

I'll try again!

That's great to know, great tip, and great info.
Mine came with shimano 400LX /300LX transmission, FC-M300 crankset, and cantis.
I found this older pic from 2005 or so, when it was all original yet, and all in working order.

Do you by any chance know what is the headset/steerer tube dimensions on those forks, if 1" (25,4mm) or 1 1/8"? I would like to replace the headset, as mine is all rust.
