The only ride that genuinely scared me silly was Oblivion at Alton Towers* with its near-vertical drop. It was a 50-50 split between a near-coronary and possibly needing a change of boxer shorts....
At the same park Air, on the other hand, is a cracking rollercoaster and great fun. Plus the position you're in is a bit like riding a time trial bike.
