Possibly, I will need a nice set of silver/polished cranks in the near future anyway...... :mrgreen:
And ran outside before and rerouted & shortened the rear brake cable housing that ran over the seat skewer. it now runs smoothly 'along' the frame but just the right length to stay just under 1/4" off of the frame. Looks much nicer.

Anybody have a 68mm x ~130 BB?? Preferably something like early 90's XT, low miles or NOS??

Is that not a cup and cone bottom bracket? Re-grease and adjust will cure it. You'll not even need new bearings if the match the general condition of the bike!
