Yeah, I think it should be. From memory the special finishes are candy, metallic and neon. They don't lacquer but the finish is shiney enough already. They do loads of motorbike parts and have a good rep for a reason.

Found a chap on STW who owns a powder coating company, he's quoted me a good price and I'm hoping that he'll be a good bet because as a fellow cyclist, he'll know where I don'twant paint.

Just need to find a way to get my forks painted pink....yup, that's right pink. Thinking of going for the Bearclaw look from Roam. Blue SX with pink forks!

Another good powdercoater to consider is The Powder Pot in Blandford Forum. When I went in the owner welcomed me with "I love doing bikes!" - and he turned the frame round in 2 days!!!

He's done a nice job on my wife's Kona and my No1 Dawes Tandem.
