Good questions Foxychick.
I'll need to double-check regarding the ferrules, but if you look at the close-up pic of the cables you'll see that the brake cable is a bit thicker than the gear cables.

Agreed guys, the XTR crank is rough and needs replaced. 3DV Cook Bros. would be nice - I'll get on the case! :D
 
So cool the mix with purple and desert blue :cool:
Just ano parts where they need to be for a no blingbling result ;)
 
Nice one Mike. Need a stem with a noodle for this bad boy, that cable guide looks tweaked. I think the build it solid all around, not sure I'd change a thing otherwise.
