A neat solution I saw once was a piece of bar/pipe suspended across a garage. Just far enough from the end for bikes to hang from their saddles facing the end. Bar at hieght for front wheels to touch ground, si low chest height.Scaffold padding gave a nice sift finish. Room for masses this way.
