Dura Ace genuine antique five speed freewheel :) 14 - 18 tooth, five speed. 14/15/16/17/18. Freewheel mechanism feels fine, nice and clicky and engages alright. The teeth as you can see in the photos are nice and chunky and will probably last forever.I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing this is from 1974. £14 by recorded post in the UK.

Oooh! I remember these coming into the shop :) I had my Falcon by then so would be 1976 ish.

Less than a nice bottle of wine, tempted :)

Go on Shaun.....be like old times!

Yep, old times Sawston but in two minds.

Mismatched block / chains can be a bit of a nuisance, especially with small cogs combined with a campag rear mech. There's not a lot of teeth wrapped around the chain and can "skip".

Slant pantograph mechs were better..

Might have to have another beer :D

The size of those old skool teeth ~ they'll work with anything! Not like that modern Hyperglide stuff.
:)

More beer on a friday night is always a good plan. I found a bottle of Leffe Radieuse in the fridge.......I'll sleep well tonight! :D
