RetroBike National Series Rd 6: Peak District ~ AFTERMATH

Great photo's,a tribute to why you all do it(and maybe me next year,getting better every day now).

Well done all

At last I've got round to uploading my photo's. I remembered my camera this year, so when I got to the top of the climb I tried to get a photo of everybody as they came up, or as they came down from Hollins Cross. Some people are missing from the climb as they were just too fast for the focus to lock onto :shock:
Fluffy Chicken you were in a good forth place reaching the summit at 11:18, according to Mr Minolta; Ninja camera, not far behind this chap

Do you mean her? I wondered where she came from. There is a reason the girl wasn't tired and it's because she hadn't taken the "REAL MAN'S ROUTE"! I can't imagine doing the big day in the peaks and not having the toil up to the radio mast, it would be like a neon bible or watching snooker in black and white!

All in a really, really good day. The Peaks ride is always the highlight of the Rb calendar and this year was better than ever. Thanks to everybody who helped run it and I can't wait until next year.

Great photos Rich Aitch but that's not me on the Klein being caught by Charlieboy, I'm the one desperately trying not to get caught and passed by that girl .

too true. no matter what i use, employ, utilise to help me stay clean..i always go home looking like i've done a body-skid on a chicken shed floor.

this was my 5th i think peaks ride, same sweet scenery and awesome company and great bikes. missed the quiz and pint afterwards but hopefully the wait wasnt as long as previous

well, what can i say that hasnt already been said, thankyou to those who organised everyone and everything,and kept the respectful manner for all to see. the totty at the cafe was poor this year, but the food was ace.

also a big thanks to marc for the frame

cheers to retrobike, its events like this that keep the flame alive for me and inspire me to get out n ride

looking forward to next year already
