Raleigh Vitesse dating

Hello everybody.

I am just about to purchase a Raleigh Vitesse in white which is in mint condition.

How do I find out how old it is and also between what dates did Raleigh manufacture this model?

No it's all white, but I will post a picture once I have it. I have only seen it once and am picking it up tomorrow.
 
First number (third character) of the serial no. is the last number of the year. My Ozark, WL750051 was made in May 1987.
 
Here's the bike

Frame number under bottom bracket YF97A00281 and a serial number on seat tube 52491598. My googling skills are letting me down :(

Can anybody date it for me please?
