ball burnished isn't quite the same as polished...

yeah the original lts had a straight seattube, the lts DH of um...956 (95 worlds) I think (the boomerang frame) had the bent tube to give better seat tube angle for DH but still had a regular deralliur mount area, wasn't until the 97? frames came out that they all had the curvy seat tubes... all to do with looking cool i think.

I don't think the Palmer jobbie would work on the LTS as the tubes aren't fat enough.

What about another colour other than white?

GT's always look good polished.

Hmmm good comments, I am thinking just white at the front and black rear, I don't have the equipment to strip and polish the frame.

Am I the only person that on first glance thought the title of this thread was "Painting my tits"?

I'd spend some money on some bar ends first ;)

I have to agree with the others that the starS and bars would really get lost on that. If the white treatment will be the cheapest, why not do that and save to money for finishing kit and cables etc?

I never read past "what I always wanted to do"

Go for it, live the dream, don't look back

Enjoy!!

I like it how it is.

If you really like the 'star spangled banner' thing, some '99 bikes had red/white/blue decals on a white frame.

Good chance gil_m could make one up custom.

There's also a GT logo with US flag colors.
