All parts were NOS less than 100 miles ago so virtually perfect all round.

6500 calipers (green Halt Gooey pads fitted) - £45

6500 rear mech (short cage) - £42

6500 front mech (double/braze on) - £18

Also, excellent 56cm Kona Kapu (853) 1998 frame and original mudShark fork available, complete with mint King 1" aheadset, break my heart for - £220

Despite wanting to keep this very much, it has to go.

56cm Frame, original seat post, original fork & king headset available for £220.

possible to sell without king headset. This thing rides so smoooth.

virtually NOS 6500 calipers and rear mech still available too.

Lovely looking bike. Would have been a perfect size for me but i was told on no account am i to buy any more bikes. Anyway, i noticed you changed the shifters. can i ask what might have happened to the old ones please?

the old 7700 shifters were sold a few months back along with the wheels. I have most of the remaining 6500 groupset, but now its rocking full Sram Red (except chainset).
Took it for a ride today after finishing the rebuild and within 200yds I knew i'd been very lucky to keep hold of the frame, its so damn nice to ride.
Very happy boy.
