As I have absolutely no expertise or knowledge when it comes to road frames, I chose the Witcomb over the Harris, but only because I like the general style of the frame and because I really like the wrap over seat stays.

Aesthetics over knowledge... probably not the best basis for a restoration, although.....

Harris......slap bang in the middle of my racing days and working in a bike shop to pay for it all. Fully sloping crown a killer feature for the frame and of it's time

I clicked on Cinelli as it looked the most exotic. Close call over the Witcomb... But, on second thoughts, they both just want building up don't they... why restore? They both look pretty nice.

Witcomb frame 650869. 1969

Hi just started restoring the Witcomb frame, it has a serial number of 650869, which i believe means it was built in 1969,
the frame is coming up really well ill post some pictures soon
