High speed retro transport

Dr S

Old School Grand Master
Heres one for the 4 wheeled fans amongst us. ;)
I needed cheering up last week as my house purchase fell through the day before I was due to leave the house I have lovingly restored over the last few years. I was Fecking sick as a parrot I tell yer. So, as always in times of sorrow I opened a box of Leffe and had a look for a new set of retro wheels. My Alfa is unlikely to see the road this year due to workload and bare metal respray requirement, so it had to be something special to make up for it.
I found this :p all 6.2 litres of it, and shes a beauty too. I already have a rusting hulk of Jensen hidden away in a friends barn- another car I will never get to finish. Before I knew it I had bought it. Missus will murder me but who cares- she'll have to catch me first!
Picking it up on Saturday morning. hope the bike fits in the back

really nice, always had a liking for them. Little large on the fuel costs these days though

On a bit of a downer with the Interceptor tonight.
Vendor has called to say that the monkeys at the local MOT centre have badly damaged the drivers door whilst doing the test. Apparently it shot backwards whilst on the ramp and caught on one of the posts. I'm going down to see the damage on Sat morning- I don't want to walk away from this one though as I have wanted one since I was about 8 years old. Just hope it ain't too bad

Wow,..that's a bummer :(

I have some great memories about these cars,..we had a Racing Green one,..my GOD! what a sound i made
