Courier company recomendations please?

APC overnight has never let me down.

al. :D

in my experience avoid yodel (stuff goes missing)

avoid hermes (they deliver in cars and are very strict on size/weight. expect the collector to have a moan even though when you book in they ask for dimensions so they should know...)
tnt, good but not particularly cheap
city link. my preferred courier. not the cheapest but never had a single issue with them.

I generally use UPS. However they will not take bikes, I use parcelforce for bikes booked through senditnow.com.

I like UPS booked through interparcel. Not the cheapest, but I can book in a 4 hour window (0900/1300), they always arrive in that window and they always have proper Vans designed to take a lot of parcels - rather than a transit or sprinter where everything just gets chucked on top of everything else.
