Retro Newbie
Hello,

I have a 1980s Bob Griffin road bike (52cm lugged steel frame) and I'm looking to sell some parts in the hope that I can buy a newer second hand road bike.

The Mavic wheels:
Early Mavic 501 hubs rebuilt with Mavic Open Pro rims in excellent condition.
32 double butted spokes
Wheels run true and bearings are smooth with no play.
Correct Mavic quick release skewers
Screw on freewheel

Pedals:
Campagnolo Record Superleggera pedals
Some wear on upper cages.
Supplied complete with clips and straps.

Also, just in case any one is interest in the frame etc it is:

1980’s Bob Griffin frame of lugged construction in excellent condition.
Brown/Mocha
Unknown tube set
Horizontal drop outs suitable for single speed
Single R/H gear braze on.
52cm seat tube, 54cm top tube.

And comes complete with:
Campagnolo Veloce rear mech with Campagnolo friction lever
Cinelli 40cm bar & 1A quill stem
Weinmann type 734 deep drop callipers and levers
165mm Shimano 105 cranks with single 42 tooth chainring
ESGE full guards

Sorry for overload of information! Please let me know if you're interested.

UK delivery only, or collection from Gloucestershire.

Thanks,
Laura

Thanks for replying.

I don't know what the wheels are worth either TBH.

Probably best to leave it to ebay and they will go for what they are worth to the buyer.

I don't think you'll have any trouble in selling them though.
