Brain Rourke 653 project RR.

Good to see others going down the retro lugged frame + carbon fork route. I did so for my Ribble 653 build, not everybody's cup of tea admittedly, but don't regret it one bit as the end product can hold its own against more modern machines based on recent race results. Looks the part, too.

Inspiring stuff, and interesting to see the weight of each part as it comes together. I'd love to do a similar build around an older steel frame one day. Watching this with interest. :cool:
 
I like that colour scheme - reminds me of the Merckx paint jobs from
that period. If I was going to respray, I would keep a similar pattern
with the red white and blue colours you mentioned. Just a suggestion
though...

Thanks for the info Clunk. I'm taking a trip to Burslem just to check out BR's bar! So hopefully I'll get some info on mine :)
