Don't get me wrong.. I think they look cool, I'm just use to the skinny stays on steel oranges.. ;)

don't stress I'm agreeing with you - just commenting that their profile means any bump gets noticed on the short rides I've done ;)

Mint sticker came with the frame and was one of the major selling points ;)

I would have liked to have used the annodised orange Hot Rod bar i grabbed off Jez, but the local hills dictate a wide bar and they just weren't wide enought. Wide flat bars are also rather hard to come by so I just used what I had in the shed. :D

CRC are selling Titec flat trackers in black for 12.99 or something silly - a tad over 25" wide and a really nice sweep - feels like an ozonic riser, but without the rise... I'm running them on my karakoram (and my DH Bike, but with extenders) and they feel lovely, while still looking right. Not truly retro, but I reckon they are in spirit.

IMHO, bottom of the toolbox builds make the best singlespeed bikes... it's good to have an axe to grind with the bike as the aggression will get you up the hills... ride it like you despise it
