MBR Magazine

Hi all,

Going through my attic i discovered my original print, first 13 issues of MBR magazine from back in 1997 or 1998 (issues 1 - 13, whenever the magazine came out first) and wondered if they would have any value to a retro collector?

they are all in mint condition too!

may stick them up on ebay or if anyone is interested or happy work something else out.

cheers,

Are those 24" wheels? Small size limits value but great for a Muddy Fox lover's wife/son/daughter.

Probably worth £25-30 as a lot. Still have a couple of these issues myself and they're a great reference for specs/prices. Was a good magazine back then... Now they don't seem to test anything below £2,000

Thanks. I was hoping it would make £150 ;) Could use ebay as last resort, would rather try forums tbh..less chance of it suffering

UK High-End stuff

I would like to sell some leftover stuff that was made in Britain, but I don't know what it might be worth to the right collector. I thought RBUK is the right place for this. All stuff is NOS except otherwise noted:
1. Middleburn cranks 170mm: 2 sets l+r and two spare left arms,
matching spider: 130bcd black + red, 110bcd red + 2x silver, 94bcd silver

2. Middleburn (or Zero Components?) bottom bracket, labelled Shogun(stickers can be peeled of), BSA thread, mostly 119mm (can look for other lengths), extra mounting rings in different colours, also Middleburn cable oilers in different colours

3. Middleburn hubset 32 hole silver with all the extras

4. Shocktech UK fork labelled Shogun (again, decals can be removed) NIB, might have some different steerers for this

5. Shocktech UK used fork and many other spare parts for this, see picture

6. and finally, a ultra-rare Shocktech Carbon fork (used) with carbon inner tubes(!!), freshly overhauled with a new Shocktech HardRide elastomer kit, works great, 1" steerer, ultralight, missing the top caps but works fine without

hi all.

I bought a 96/97 orange p7 frame and parts cheap, had been in owners garage for a good few years. Came with Manitou Mach 5 forks which are stiff and have no play at all, i am building the bike up high spec and have now purchased some pace rc 36's. I believe the mach 5's wont need much doing to them but dont have spare cash to get them working again.

Any ideas on what i shoukld advertise them for?

thanks

Andy

howdo folks,

are these worth owt?
cosmetically they are pretty much immaculate no scratches or anything but the elastomers are shot and need replacing

cheers in advance
