Mid 90's Reworked Cinder Cone. Finished pics page 4

A killer bit of bartering thanks to this forum has meant I now have an 8speed XTR cassette to hump a chain up and down.
Sooooo the thumbies are staying on my commuter and there's now a pair of 3x8 XT rapidfires tucked under the hope levers. (I say leverS, the rear is still absent)
Wheel choice is now made too :) given up on finding perfect second hand hoops so going for new builds now. More green and black ano bits ;)
 
This build should be called 'project indecision' or something?!
Ordered the wheels this afternoon, the company in question had slapped a huge discount on some silly light all black pre built wheels so I bought them on impulse instead of the planned custom built jobbies.
Bit of a deviation but should look good and save a heap of weight.

Still, at least that's the last big expense out of the way!

These things are stupid light! Won't register on the bathroom scales!

Yes wold ranger had jacksons add the tab and while not the lightest anchors in the world I'm putting hope M4s on it as I just like them.
I cant wait either! So close now but need a cash injection :? The last few small bits needed add up to a fair sum. :cry:
 
Really must stop dry building in the kitchen and move into the garage and onto the workstand :roll:
No issues so far anyway, everything's going together well :D

It looks frickin ace, I may have missed them, but what forks have you gone for?

If you need any pads for those brakes, get in touch.
 
Thanks ;) I'll need pads for the rear as they are a bit abused.
Forks are fox F100's with the sliders resprayed in a metallic black and decal-less.
