'5' go off to Devon

On long trips I used to get around 28 or 30 from my straight six 260E if I was light footed.

So I can confidently say you're doomed to around 20mpg if you dare to go quickly on any bits of the drive.

When he bought it, the rear offside had collapsed, hence the jaunty angle... fixed it with new shocks and springs all round before it went on the road I think

Sadly, it got traded in for Vauxhall Meriva... I know :twisted:

231 miles, 28.03 miles to the gallon.

Not bad for a 25 year old car. Fuel light came on at Collumpton which gives me two gallons of panicking time.

Am in Broadclyst on me Raleigh Record Ace till Sunday...
