I seem to be the latest victim of can't make up my mind when it comes to bikes. Going from a hardtail (coyote ht4) to full suss (proflex beast and 857) then back to hardtail (kona kula). Now back to full suss...

A nicely purchased a ventana marble peak 1996, which i seen on here a few days ago, paid for yesterday. It be on its way to me soon.

Managed to also do a swap on some forks. Rockshox Judy sl's for my pace rc31's.

Pics to follow...

But sort of spec - Bontrager racelight wheels, magura hs33, either 3x9 or 1x9 and deore hollowtech II

Recieved the ventana today.

Took out the un72 as no need for square taper, in goes deore ht2 bb and xt rear mech on.

Next job is to get the headset done, waiting for lx v brakes and judy sl's

finally got the headset fitted and had had it built up with magura hs33 rear and hope mini front. magura vadar forks. But the setup didnt feel and look right, plus the forks were 100mm and rear is 75mm. so back to the drawing board. Got the rockshox judy sl 96 forks on the way, not sure whether to use them or waiting for some magura rond quakes to come through with firmtech hs33, which I won on ebay for £60. so either hs33 rear or lx v-brake on the rear

Ventana

Stick with V brakes, lighter and neater, Forkwise I'd go for a dual Air model. then you can dial in the ride height with the negative Air springs and save some weight, Sid or Reba's. Nice frame BTW.

I got one of those, even with a spare disc swingarm. Will have to find a day to build her up. From what I remember, they ride plush! I use a 80mm fork from what I remember.
