Maverick SC32s. Upside-downers with a 24mm(!) thru-axle to stiffen the front end up a little!

The Dukes are fantastic forks, just not what I was after for the 4 Banger that's all. I'd always planned to change them.

I would have liked some Shiver SCs, but couldn't turn these down as they're lighter, and they came with the matching front wheel which saved me the hassle of having to find one or get one built!
 
I saw the photo's of the forks and was wondering what you were going to do about a front wheel, lucky they are coming with a wheel
 
The Mavericks arrived today :)

Just finished fitting them. 20mm more travel than the Dukes they replaced, but more or less exactly the same height so none of the angles have changed.

They've got a 24mm thru-axle on the front, which should stiffen things up a little - not that the bike really needed it.

I can't wait to get this thing to the top of the nearest black run - DeliHustler are you listening? ;) :cool:

Before the forks arrived, I was toying with the idea of carbon-wrapping the uppers, so that they matched up with the swingarm, but I think I'll leave them as they are :cool:

I'm going to send them off for a strip down and service before I use them properly. They haven't been serviced since they were new (they haven't had much use at all to be honest!), and they suffer from the notorious compression spike towards the end of their travel. I could have a go at it myself, because the forks are supposed to be some of the simplest to service, but knowing me I'd bugger something up, so I'll send them to the professionals :LOL:
