and throw on a tidy XT m735 band clamp front and short cage rear mech to go with the thumb shifters…

not quite final, but enough to get it out and spinning. ;)

ran out of black outer so went with whatever i had to complete the cabling. will be acquiring some more outer soon. not sure if i'll leave the XT m730 beartrap pedals and install some PowerGrips pedal straps to them, or perhaps go with a pair of XT m737 SPDs. maybe i'll just alternate pedals depending on my mood. need to slap on the decals as well.

so far she rides fantastic, but will probably require some minor tweaks and tune up.

so i took this and my Mongoose Amp out on the trails this w/e. Both rode great, though being full rigid, could feel my body getting beat up more during the rough spots. but overall it handled great and I felt at home on it. :D

I've got a similar project but I can't for the life of me find a bloody Syncros post at 30.4!!!!

yeah, think it'll be tough. only seen two in that size breeze through the for sale here. :( you may need to resort to buying another Cirrus/Experience to get a hold of one.

Nice setup Frank!!!

Re: post.... You can get a 30.4 Origin8 on eBay in the Syncros style for like $35...

That's what I may resort to if I can't find one for my experience

or buy a 29.6 from me and get some 0.4 mm brass shim stock. I may end up doing similar to fit a 31.0 syncros into a 31.6 frame.

Re: Rocky Mountain "Syncros" Expérience

Very Nice. Sometimes in my mind a period correct bike that is being ridden would have non OEM parts as the bike is upgraded, parts break etc. Suppose I'm not a purist when it comes to the period correct part. But this bike I enjoy looking at and after all, we are here on RB to express our labour of love. Nice build :)
