Shallow theaded bottom bracket

just one more thing to watch out for I guess. I'm guessing its a mid 90s frame?

The geometry does look quite agressive in that picture, but the saddle/bar drop is only about 5cm at the minute - although it will probably end up being somewhere around 10.

I will have to get a shot of the front of the BB - although the powdercoat has removed a lot of the detail which is a bit of a shame.

same as this by the look of it

edit: it's got a normal 753 sticker on it, but sold to me as 753r so I'm going to roll with it. The stickers and paint are all new anyway - tis a light frame for sure.

Hmm :? Obviously your bike, your choice. But bullhorns would make more sense and look better aesthetically ;)

yer, I have thought about it - I had these in the garage so thought I may as well give them a go before spending out. Once I ride it some I'll know.

Bike as it sits:

Still needs a few bits (not least a front mech) - but I took it out for a quick spin regardless.

Slightly concerned about the chainring clearance, though think I will probably change the front cranks anyway, they're 175 at the moment and I'd really like a set of 170s

Could probably get a fag paper or two in there but not a whole lot else.

About the same as the clearance on my 70's bob Jackson built for TT running a 5 speed chainset on a Pista BB :)
