This is chassis number F1 / 010 first built for Tom Walkinshaw of Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) in 1991.

The bike is how I bought it aside from replacing the tired tyres, grips and the modern saddle.

Stem: Salsa
Handlebars: Merlin titanium 5 deg
Grips: Odi
Shifters: Shimano XT M732 with Magura mounts
Cranks: Cooks
Chainrings: Shimano 46/36/24
Pedals: Shimano XT M732
Front Derailleur: Shimano XT M732
Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT M732
Cassette: Shimano XT M732 12-28
Brakes: Magura HS11
Skewers: Ringle
Rims: Bontrager BCR 2
Spokes: DT Swiss
Hubs: Shimano XT M732
Tyres: Onza Porcupine (original - Ritchey Megabite 2.1)

Weight: 24.2 lbs

Planned upgrades:

Shorten rear derailleur cable
Reverse fork legs
Replace chainring bolts with Venhill (have - but may not do)
Replace rear brake mounts to HS11 (needed)
Source original tyres and saddle (needed)
A strip down and polish!

That is Gorgeous, the carbon looks in remarkable shape for its year.

Did Roberts fabricate the rear end of this one, or did he only do the wishbone rear ends...?

The condition you have kept it in is amazing, and a real credit to you.

Tom Walkinshaw was the man behind the Jaguar Group C / Le Mans racing team. He also was involved (may still be) with Donnington race circuit.

Sadly died a few years back. Pretty much did everything motorsport wise in some shape or form.

Oh yeah, awesome bike, probably my 'unicorn'.
